Seven generations after Salvadore, two brothers--Constantino & Giuseppe, established families in Tuscany whose descendants have created this webpage. Constantino's grandson, Torello, immigrated to the United States in 1892. Giuseppe's grandson, Guido, remained in Pistoia. |
Antonio & Adelaide Grandi. As reflected in the story of the Calvani immigration to New Mexico available above, Torello Calvani married Ersilia Grandi whose family was among those who immigrated with him from Northern Italy. Antonio and Adelaide were the parents of Adelaide. This website does not have much about the Grandi family, and we invite those members of the Grandi family to provide us information that we can include here. The Grandi's like the Calvani's were farmers in Eddy County, New Mexico. Many still live there.
